So the end is here. 52 weeks have passed, and 52 different meats have been eaten. What an amazing adventure! It has pushed us out of our comfort zones, but not overwhelmingly, and it has pushed my cooking skills and abilities. Mid way into this experiment it was a real push to keep going as it seemed like a chore to figure out how to cook all the weird and exotic foods, but I did it!
Ants were a pleasant way to end our experiment. Served on top of… ice cream! With a slight lime taste to it and a crunch and burst of flavour with every mouthful, it was a wonderful addition. I can see ants being used successfully in a variety of ways.
So after the experiment of #52weeks52meats what is next for us? I have a few ideas in the works, but does anyone have any suggestions for us? Anything you would like to see more of in general, that doesn’t require any experiment? More recipes, etc?
